Your privacy

What this site collects, why, where it's kept, and how to have it changed or deleted. Enthusiast Racing LLC, Liberty, Missouri.

01

The short version

  • Nothing sold. We don't sell or rent anything about you, and there are no ads on this site.
  • No tracking cookies. Visit counting uses no cookies and nothing personal. Do Not Track turns it off.
  • Messages are sealed. Contact messages, and the email and phone on sign-ups, are locked in your browser before they're sent.
  • Your call. Ask us and we'll show, fix or delete what you've sent us.
02

Counting visits

To see what's working, the site counts visits. It keeps a random number in your browser (not a cookie) and notes the page, the site name a visit came from, time on the page, how far down it was read, sections seen and clicked, videos played, and forms started and sent. It never records what you type.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, none of this runs. To limit how often forms can be sent, the site keeps a scrambled form of your internet address for a short time. Our web host also keeps ordinary server logs (internet address, page, browser) for security.

03

Forms and messages

When you use the contact form or a Join form, what you send goes to the Enthusiast Racing team so we can answer you. Contact messages, and the email and phone on Join sign-ups, are locked with our staff key in your browser before they leave it. The website itself can't read them; only our staff desk can.

We use what you send to reply, to set you up for what you asked about (racing, sponsoring, crewing, hiring, hosting and the rest), and for nothing else.

04

Racing accounts

A racing account (for the Market and Beat The Tree) keeps your name, email, a password stored only as a one-way scramble, your role, and a team and phone if you add them.

  • Your email and phone show only to signed-in members, and only on your own listings.
  • Times you post on Beat The Tree show on the board under your account name.
  • You can delete your account yourself from your account page. That removes your listings and clears your name, email, phone and team.

The account rules are on the rules page.

05

Cookies

The site sets a cookie only when you sign in: to a racing account (it lasts up to 30 days), or to one of our private portals, partner pages or staff tools. These cookies keep you signed in and do nothing else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

06

Photos, video and Google Drive

Photos, video and music that our drivers, crews and media send through their portals are kept in Enthusiast Racing's own Google Drive, or on our server until they're moved there. Documents and portal answers stay on our server.

The site reaches that Drive with Google's narrowest permission (drive.file). It can only see and change files the site itself put there. Visitors never sign in to Google for this, and the site never sees anyone else's Drive.

Enthusiast Racing's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

07

Other services

  • Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your internet address when your browser fetches them.
  • Videos from YouTube use its privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) player.
  • Share buttons load nothing from other sites until you pick one.
  • Links to other sites, like sponsors and Racers For Christ, follow those sites' own privacy rules.
08

Kids

Racing is a family sport, but this site isn't meant for children under 13 to sign up or send us information. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.

09

See, fix or delete

To see what we have from you, fix it, or delete it, send us a message and say what you'd like. We'll answer and take care of it.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
